Blue-spotted salamander survey with Manchester Essex Conservation Trust (MECT) at Warren Weld Woodland in Essex, MA. Rick got a special permit to search for the elusive Blue-spotted salamander with MECT. The set traps and checked them every day from March 15, 2021 through April 4, 2021. We never trapped a Blue-spotted salamander but we did catch and release fish, frogs, and a boat load of Spotted salamanders (yellow spot).
